We are a Top Notch MEP Consulting Firm that is targeting a Mechanical Engineer for our Bethesda MD or Washington DC office.
Our work covers a vast array of building industry sectors, including partnering with premier government / federal buildings, historic, higher education, healthcare, commercial and cultural institutions. We work with leading architects, developers, and both private and public sector owners to ensure complete client satisfaction by bringing our seasoned judgment and ingenuity, along with adherence to schedule and budget, to every project. We pride ourselves on our quality assurance / quality control procedures, and our hands-on Principal involvement is the hallmark of our firm. This firm's expertise extends beyond traditional MEP engineering to include fire and life safety, information and communication technology, commissioning, and energy services. Our headquarters is located in Washington DC, with six additional office locations throughout North America
- Mechanical Engineer- This role will sit in our Bethesda MD or Washington DC office.
The main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to :
Qualifications and Education Requirements
A baccalaureate degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year institution
Minimum of 4 years professional experience in commercial / institutional building projects.
4 years’ experience designing HVAC systems for buildings
Strong AutoCAD and Revit capabilities
EIT or PE license highly desirable
Strong fundamental understanding of national building codes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Strong Analytical and quantitative skills, and a demonstrated capability for analysis and strategic thinking
Strong initiative—the willingness and ability to succeed in a collaborative, team-based environment
Ability to multi-task with multiple projects in order to meet strict deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas
in an accessible way, both verbally and in writing
