Engineering Maintenance Manager
Yakima / Selah, WA
120-130,000 bonus / relocation
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing maintenance functions and providing maintenance support for the plant. Position facilitates training for Supervisors and Mechanics with the purpose of ensuring departmental and operational safety and regulatory compliance, develops and maintains preventative maintenance program, works with the Continuous Improvement Engineer to initiate and run capital projects.
- Mentor Maintenance Supervisors, Purchasing Supervisor, Planner / Scheduler, Mechanics and Parts Attendants. Manage the Skills Knowledge Proficiency Program (SKPP) platform for hourly staff. Provide formal and informal feedback through coaching, monitoring and evaluating job results based on goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and operational regulatory food and employee safety requirements.
- Coordinate and work on activities related to enforcing food safety :
- Manage efforts related to employee safety : Examples – Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) / Confined Space / Ladder Safety / Fall Protection
- Document Control
- Prepare a Budget and a Spend Plan.
