Position: GNETS School Counselor
Position Purpose: The School Psychologist or School Counselor supervises and implements
therapeutic services for the FUTURES Program, provides PBIS support, provides professional consultation to the FUTURES Program staff concerning needs of parents/students, participates in screening referrals, attends IEP meetings when appropriate, administers tests when needed, plans and facilitates parent workshops/training, provides training to the FUTURES Program and system personnel on the FBA process and the writing and implementation of BIPs, and performs other duties as assigned by the FUTURES Director and/or FUTURES Site Coordinator.

Qualifications: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: GA PSC Certification in School Counseling or
eligible for certification: S-6 (Ed. Psych), S-6 (School Psychology), or S-5
(School Counseling), or such alternatives as the Pioneer RESA Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
