Job Title: Cafe Lead Job Coach
Location: The Cafe at Futures
Reports to: Culinary Director

Job Summery and Mission:

This position contributes to the Cafe at Futures by providing customers with
excellent customer service, prompt service, quality beverages and food products
and by maintaining a clean and comfortable cafe environment. The number one
responsibility is to work with our clients with patience.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the
following:

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values
and mission of Futures, Inc. as well as, making sure all cafe staff are also
adhering to all these values.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
to keep the cafe operating to standard.
• Anticipate customer and cafe needs by constantly evaluating environment
and customer cues.
• Communicate information to Culinary Director so that the team can respond
as necessary.
• Assists with new staff training by positively reinforcing successful
performance and customer guest experience.
• Delivers customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes
first attitude. Please make sure all staff are also following this.
• Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash
handling, safety and security.
• Provides quality beverages and food products by adhering to all
instructions and presentation standards.
• Weekly inventory of all freezers and send order lists to the Culinary
Director.
• Send a weekly supply list for all food and supplies needed to Culinary
Director.
• Place Omar coffee order as needed.
• Sam's club and Restaurant Depot shopping after shift with consumer.
• Housekeeping and organization of Cafe and stockroom.
• Miscellaneous shopping as needed.
• Maintain ServSafe certification.
• Make sure all Health department codes are being followed by all cafe staff. Stay up to date on all new rules and regulations.
• Maintain all chalkboards.
• Place lunch and baked good order on work-flow document daily.
• Be able to lift up to 251bs.
• 40 hours per week, days and times may vary.
• Available to work at least one Saturday per month, but not to exceed 40b
hours.
