The Executive Director of Business Development is responsible for general marketing operation and strategic management, supervision of the outreach team, supervision of digital strategy and/or vendor/team, and the supervision of all department verticals within the marketing and outreach department.

- Maintains confidentiality in accordance with Futures Recovery Healthcare policies and complies with HIPAA guidelines.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive reports on department performance.
- Conducts monthly meetings to ensure interdepartmental cohesion.
- Works with the leadership team on budget and financial projections.
- Works with outreach and marketing team on strategy development and strategy implementation.
- Builds applicable go-to-market strategy in accordance with financial and budgetary obligations and in support of departmental and organizational goals.
- Will have successfully led and had extensive experience in strategy development, marketing plan development, and team development to grow business and business operations and relationships.
- Works with the outreach and marketing team to understand historical and current applicable referral and/or admission data and identify market opportunities.
- Works with the admissions team to provide program information, training, and relevant updates so that they can communicate effectively with prospective clients.
- Builds/maintains strong brand presence, public company image, and brand awareness.
- Oversees digital strategies and implementations, including online presence, website content, marketing collateral, and vendor relationships or initiatives.
- Manages digital strategy, website, and/or vendors.
- Oversees and manages admissions and call center operations, working closely with admissions leadership to promote ease of access and quality customer service to clients and referents alike.
- Able to cultivate new and existing business development opportunities and/or relationships.
- Serves as a point of contact for tours and program information for specialty programs.
- Communicates with family and/or referents as needed and appropriate.
- Identifies training opportunities for outreach and marketing staff and initiatives as needed.
- Makes personnel decisions, including hiring and terminations.
- Maintains team development protocols and/or procedures.
- Models and facilitates professional conduct, including assuming responsibility, analyzing, evaluating, modifying behavior, ethical and legal conduct, deadlines, core policies, and safe work practices, presenting information regarding professional and regulatory standards, and continuous professional growth.
- Provide leadership to all marketing and outreach efforts, including communication, branding, and/or brand-related initiatives.
- Identifies new market opportunities, new referrals, and/or business partner opportunities/relationships, as well as strategic marketing relationships and/or initiatives.
- Exploration of new vendor relationships.
- Reviews and approves vendor invoices.
- Performs other duties as the CEO and/or leadership team assigns.
- Must have strategic vision, strong interpersonal (and interpersonal communication) skills, and a drive-for results attitude and demeanor.
- Must be a detail-oriented, self-starter with strong business acumen and the ability to lead and inspire.
- Capable of operating with ambiguity and autonomy while leveraging a certain level of strategic curiosity.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college.
- A minimum of 10 years of sales and marketing experience; experience in behavioral healthcare is highly preferred.
- Experience in residential treatment facilities is preferred.
- At least two years in a supervisory role.
- Must possess essential sales and/or business development skills—excellent understanding of consumer behavior and sales process flow.
- Strong development, team development, team facilitation skills, writing skills, the ability to produce comprehensive strategies, and/or leverage strategic vision is necessary.
- Must be capable of providing accountability, strategy, go-to-market strategy, key performance indicator accountability, and provision of objective data and performance reports.
- Understanding of and/or experience in admissions and call-center-related operations, as well as digital strategy and/or digital vendor management, is a must.
- Outside of the box thinker.
- Must have excellent skills in verbal communication, good organization, quality time management, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
