Job Title: Fraud Quantitative Analyst
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Duration: Long Term
Primary Responsibilities:
The Fraud Senior Quantitative Analyst is responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems.
Individual at this level is expected to utilize independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to supervisors or other experts. Individual would be expected to contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a strong basic understanding of the specifies product or process.
May also be accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This person will provide analytics and strategy support for the Fraud Strategy & Analytics Authentication team through December 2026.
The Authentication analytics role focuses on creating rules and strategies to deny, challenge, or allow digital events and transactions.
For example, the candidate for this role would use predictive scores and attribute data to deny high risk Zelle payments, but stay within false positive ratio (FPR) targets and balance customer experience targets. T
he candidate for this role would use RSA-Outseer to write, check, and deploy rules. T
he expectation is that this candidate would work closely with the Authentication Operations team, as the Operations team reviews high risk volume and provides feedback to the analytics team.
High level of independence for reporting, strategy, and analytics functions.
Provide ad hoc support for operations, strategy, and leadership analytics requests Required: Advanced degree in STEM field or equivalent experience.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Advanced degree in quantitative analytics, economics, statistics, engineering, or a related area. In lieu of advanced degree, equivalent work/fraud experience 2-4 years of proficiency with SAS (including statistical modeling), and SQL 2-4 years of Fraud analytics experience mitigating transactional or event based Fraud 2-4 years experience with Python is desirable but not required
