Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the grocery aisles and displays.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Stock shelves with produce and grocery items, ensuring proper rotation and freshness.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners for inventory management.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move products from storage areas to sales floors.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations within the grocery department.
- Sell promotional items and assist in creating attractive displays to drive sales.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and equipment is advantageous.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed throughout the shift.
