Logistics Operator 3rd shift

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Operator for our 3rd shift team in Dayton, 0001. As a Logistics Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods throughout our supply chain. You will work closely with our warehouse and transportation teams to coordinate the flow of products, and ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time and to the highest quality standards. This is a critical role in our organization, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
• Forklift certification
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the movement of goods throughout our supply chain, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
• Ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, and that all products meet our quality standards
• Work closely with our warehouse and transportation teams to optimize the flow of products and minimize delays
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements and transactions
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and work with the team to implement these changes

Skills:

As a Logistics Operator, you will use your strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure the smooth flow of products throughout our supply chain. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with our warehouse and transportation teams to coordinate the movement of goods. Additionally, you may use your experience with WMS and TMS to optimize our logistics processes, and your knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
