III. Job Functions and Duties | ||||

1 | Attend the daily shift meeting on time. Receive instruction from supervisor and team leader prior to starting production work. | |||
2 | Inspect glass products, identify any defects, and otherwise verifiy products meet department / customer requirements. | |||
3 | Repair or make other necessary corrections to glass product based on standard operating procedures. | |||
4 | Accurately record products that could not be repaired and must be scrapped. Accurately record other data as requested by the supervisor / team leader. | |||
5 | Investigate the root cause of defects and determine the reasons why product had to be scrapped. | |||
6 | Help the team / department meet daily targets. Identify and communicate problems that should be immediately addressed. | |||
7 | Work closely with team members to make changes to address problems creating scrap, helping to maintain high qualty production output. | |||
8 | Track and replenish inventory of repair / rework supplies. | |||
9 | Keep the repair area well-organized, following 5S protocols. | |||
10 | Conscientiously implement the comprehensive management and related regulations. | |||
11 | Maintain clean and safe working conditions. Understand the environmental factors, hazard sources and control methods of this position to ensure safe production. | |||
12 | Manage your own ADP, attend according to the company's attendance system, and wear all kinds of PPE required by the working environment. | |||
13 | Help train new employees as needed. | |||
14 | Assist in other duties as assigned. | |||

Job Requirements | Language | Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English and Mandarin. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers. | ||
Experience | 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. | |||
Education | High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) | |||
Physical Condition | The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods. Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip) Visual acuity including, but not limited to: a. NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded. b. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions. c. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are. d. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors. e. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
