Division HR Director – Multi-Site Leadership (U.S. & Canada)
We are seeking a Division HR Director to lead and execute HR operations across multiple manufacturing and industrial sites in the U.S. and Canada. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving HR initiatives, workforce planning, and post-merger integration while collaborating closely with senior leadership and site-level teams.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Leadership & Execution
- Oversee HR operations across 14 locations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and site-specific needs.
- Partner with plant managers and leadership teams to implement effective HR solutions at the operational level.
- Conduct 9-Box assessments, Predictive Index (PI) testing, and workforce planning to enhance organizational performance.
- Drive post-merger integration efforts, focusing on cultural alignment, talent retention, and HR transformation.
- Lead leadership succession training programs, ensuring a strong pipeline for key roles.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Act as the primary HR liaison for multi-site employee relations, ensuring compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws.
- Manage performance management processes, coaching site leadership on best practices for talent development.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational shifts.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent for critical roles.
- Implement learning and development programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with site leaders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee growth.
Travel & Stakeholder Engagement
- Travel up to 50% to various sites across North America, providing on-the-ground HR leadership and support.
- Work closely with senior executives, translating high-level HR strategies into actionable execution plans.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10 years of HR leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environments.
- Proven ability to execute HR programs at a hands-on, operational level.
- Strong background in workforce planning, talent development, and post-merger HR integration.
- Experience with 9-Box assessments, Predictive Index (PI) testing, and leadership training programs.
- Ability to travel 50% across North America and work directly with site leadership.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian labor laws.
