Job Requirements :
Field installation experience in security systems such as Fire Alarms, Intrusion, Access Control, or CCTV.
Valid state-specific Physical Security or Life Safety licenses as required.
Willingness to travel for extended periods (a few weeks at a time).
Work schedule primarily during 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional night shifts.
Ability to work at heights of 20’ to 60’ using lifts.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and site maps.
Familiarity with multiple Intrusion / Access Control system manufacturers (a plus).
Proficiency in designing and planning technical solutions during pre-installation phases.
Strong customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
PPE and reliable transportation during the training period (prior to company vehicle assignment).
Basic computer / laptop / smartphone proficiency.
Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Job Responsibilities :
Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage cabling systems, including IP, Access Control, Intrusion Alarms, Data and more.
Perform installation work in commercial buildings, including concrete drilling and limited conduit bending.
Ensure all wiring, connections, and terminations are completed with a high level of quality, meeting customer expectations and contractual obligations.
Install and upgrade fire alarm systems, program control panels, and follow building plans / electrical layouts.
Conduct system tests to verify functionality and compliance with fire codes and regulations.
Collaborate with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair systems to ensure they meet local, state, and federal codes, as well as legal and insurance requirements.
