Embroidery Specialist

Fuzion is a fast-growing company that specializes in the curation and customization of high-end apparel and accessories. Our mission is to elevate a customer’s image and amplify their brand with extreme care and attention to exceed their expectations. The Embroidery Production Specialists report directly to the Production Manager. The tasks associated with this position include:

Embroidery

• Work in the company's two operating systems
• Operate single and multi-head Tajima machines
• Hoop a variety of garments (caps, shirts, bags) straight and taught
• Choose proper stabilizers for the best embroidery outcome
• Trim backing in a clean manner
• Embroider garments to customer specifications located in job notes
• Use critical judgment and ask questions if something seems incorrect
• Take direction on daily production priorities from the Production Manager
• Understand critical embroidery techniques
• Perform processes within the department (sew-outs, production re-dos)
• Seek continuing training on embroidery techniques
• Troubleshooting technical issues with equipment
• Contribute ideas and experience to workflow and identification of ways to drive efficiency
• Maintain a clean and professional-looking embroidery area
• Clean out machines using air compressor daily
• Put thread colors and hoops back at the end of each shift
• Follow oiling schedule for machines to ensure machines run smoothly
• Tracking time spent on each job / track KPI information
• Cross training over multiple areas of apparel decoration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
