Courier (Part-Time)

About the Role:
FW Logistics seeks a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Courier to join our team. This position will primarily involve delivering documents and materials between our Montezuma, GA. facility and the USDA office located at 14075 GA Hwy 116 East, Pine Mountain Valley, GA 31823.

Position Details:

• Location: FW Logistics – 301 Airport Dr, Montezuma, GA 31063
• Part-Time: 2–4 days per week (Monday-Friday)
• Schedule: 3–4 hours per day (schedule floats based on need)
• Pay: $17.00/hour Mileage Reimbursement (FW's mileage surcharge rate is $0.70 per mile as of 4/25/2025) 152 miles round-trip
• Vehicle Use: You will drive your own personal, insured, and registered vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport paperwork and small packages between facilities.
• Maintain delivery logs and ensure documents are handled with care.
• Communicate with dispatch and management regarding scheduling or delivery issues.
• Represent FW Logistics professionally when interacting with USDA personnel and facility staff.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (must be in good standing)
• Clean driving record (no recent violations or accidents)
• Proof of valid vehicle registration and insurance
• Reliable personal vehicle capable of making the trip consistently
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Additional Information:

• This is a part-time employee position (not a contractor role).
• Mileage is reimbursed based on FW's mileage surcharge rate ($0.70 per mile as of 4/25/2025).
