Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior full stack web developer with a minimum of five years of experience specializing in Vue.js, React, SharePoint, and design systems to support our DoD client.

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring their stability, scalability, and usability. The successful candidate will collaborate with the product team and other developers to create world-class user interfaces and interactive web experiences, ensuring the feasibility, completion, and delivery of projects.

The ideal candidate is both technically proficient and possesses strong problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of front-end development frameworks and back-end technologies. Experience developing web applications in the defense or space-related industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers in the design and implementation of software applications for defense systems.
• Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and develop high-quality code for web applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex front-end and back-end issues and optimize performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in software development to continuously enhance capabilities and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry and 8 years of overall professional technical experience.
• Expert-level experience in Vue.js, React, SharePoint, and design systems.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C , Java, Node.js, ASP.NET, REST, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
• Experience with back-end frameworks such as Django, Laravel, or Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Solid understanding of database design and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, with experience in agile development workflows.
• Proficiency in GitHub, Confluence, and Office365.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to travel if required, with advance notice and approval.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs).
  
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Salary : $150,000
