FedWriters is building a team to support NAVSEA's visual communications and multimedia operations at the Washington Navy Yard. As a Graphics Specialist, you will create compelling visual content for exhibits, publications, and presentations while collaborating with subject matter experts to effectively communicate complex information through graphic design.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**
Work Schedule and Location:
On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm at the Washington Navy Yard, 1333 Isaac Hull Avenue, Washington, DC.
- Creates graphic arts work for portrayal primarily in the form of exhibits, printed and Internet publications and visual presentations.
- Produces work as directed or collaborates with subject matter experts to determine necessary information to provide the most effective visual presentation.
Required Qualifications;
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience producing military and/or government graphic design products (short engaging videos, images, posters, infographics, digital signage) as demonstrated by applicant's resume
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design, Animation, Art, or a related field
- Must have experience with Adobe Pro and/or Final Cut Pro
- Secret Security Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in conceptualizing, processing, and producing audio, video, animations, and interactive multimedia material for a variety of audiences and platforms
- Experience to collaborate and synthesize complex ideas and initiatives into easily understood visuals for a variety of audiences
- Demonstrated to execute work in accordance with industry-leading audiovisual standards
