Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera, ProCore, and HeavyBid to streamline the estimating process.
- Develop detailed project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for more accurate estimations.
- Prepare bid proposals and present findings to clients or internal teams.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and related documentation for future reference.
- Monitor industry trends and pricing changes to adjust estimates accordingly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project estimating within the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management software including Bluebeam, Primavera, ProCore, and HeavyBid is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
