Job Summary
Overview
A local Exhibit company in Orlando is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Exhibit/Broadcast Installer to join our team.
In Office Responsibilities
- Lead set up and dismantle of assigned projects ensuring the exhibit is set up according to design
- Manage the technical aspects, such as lighting and audio-visual equipment of assigned projects
- Attend weekly production meetings
- Attend client coordination/installation meetings
- Assist in shop on fabrication builds when needed
- Assemble supplies, tools and organize workboxes for installs
- Supervise truck loading for assigned installations; generate and check load lists
- Create and submit install labor requests and detailed installation schedule
Out of office Responsibilities
- Willing to travel within the US and possibly internationally
- Lead build crews on-site during set installations
- Perform on-site assembly of exhibit and studio sets with integrated set lighting and signage
- Submit daily installation reports
- Ensuring all components are installed correctly & safely, and that the exhibit meets specifications
- Communicate with event organizers, clients & other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Address any issues that arise during setup, the event, or dismantling
- Performing routine checks and maintenance on exhibit components during the event
- Submit expense reports to Project manager and Accounting
- Travel to potential sites for site surveys
Required Skills
- Carpentry, Laminating, Critical Thinking, Time Management, Organization, MS office
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of setting up and dismantling exhibits
- Time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Have hand tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
