Description
Fyda Freightliner Columbus is an Elite Support Certified dealer of new Freightliner trucks and Crane Carrier vocational severe-service vehicles, and carries a large inventory of all-makes of pre-owned trucks. Fyda Freightliner Columbus is the largest retailer of new and used Expediters in the United States. Serving the Columbus transportation industry hub since 1985, we operate as a full-service commercial truck dealership and body shop.
Monday - Friday, 10am-6:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage orders by pulling correct items to accurately fill orders
- Stage pulled items correctly for delivery or pick up.
- Safely operate handling equipment to meet team fulfillment goals
- Meet all safety requirements including wearing proper PPE
- Comfortable working with heights
- Ability to follow direction and change priorities
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow inventory control process to keep accurate records
- Communicate with team/management to create a productive and positive work environment
- Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
- Complete additional duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, crouch, reach and lift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced active environment
- Successfully pass a pre-hire background screening
- Willing and able to regularly lift/or move 50lbs
- Able to keep pace with work area and team
