What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Classification Specialist (DEA) position at FYI For Your Information Inc?
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Classification Specialist will be responsible for performing a full range of technical and administrative human resources management services relating to classification.
Responsibilities:
- Provide position management and classification support, including reviewing and analyzing specific occupational series and other organizational information (e.g., mission, functional statements, and organizational charts).
- Provide classification recommendations that will best support the organization's strategic goals.
- Utilize the Office of Personnel Management's classification standards and any applicable DOJ and/or DEA guidance to complete a full range of tasks to Classify positions and complete Desk Audits in accordance with the Federal Wage System (FWS) and/or the General Schedule (GS).
Requirements:
- 5 years of classification/management and/or compensation experience for the Federal government.
- Bachelors Degree or 3 years of related position classification or similar experience in the public or private sector.
- Sufficient technical proficiency with databases, automated systems i.e., SharePoint.
