Location: Overland Park, Kansas or Chicago, IL 4 days a week on site.
Description: Morton has operations based in California, Montreal, South America, and Chicago. The internal customers are based in Overland Kansas, with Sales, Marketing, and Support teams.
Team is running ECC 6.0, which is a heavily customized R3 system that is 25 years old. They have five systems: ECC, APO, BW, HR, and PO, with 30 bolt-ons including Commerce, C4C, CRM, EDI through PO, and Integration Suite for new work. The system is complex with a lot of custom code and is supported by 12-15 people. The team covers various areas including Finance, HR, MM, OTC/LE, Plant Operations, Governance (Security), (Basis and ABAP work are taken care of by a hosting provider for AMS). Each track has a manager over process and all four managers are hands-on. They are moving from their current hosting provider to SAP RISE and then to native AWS. This position is open because a key SD person who has been there for 40 years is retiring and they want to be able to knowledge and process transition. The team handles OTC, satellite applications like Commerce Cloud, CRM, Cloud-Based C4C, and TM, focusing on order taking, pricing, trade promotions, and claims management. They are looking for older candidates who are looking to settle down, with S/4 experience being a plus. (Although there is no timeline yet to go to S/4) The candidate must have perfect communication skills and will interact with multiple stakeholders including Customer Services, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
