Position : Product Manager- Wipers and Rags

Position Status : Exempt Salaried

Reports To : SVP Global Sales & Marketing

Location : Jackson, TN - Remote

Position Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Manager for our Rags and Wiper division to oversee and drive the strategic direction, growth, and profitability within FyterTech Nonwovens. This role involves market analysis, product positioning, and close collaboration with sales,

marketing, product development and operations to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Market Strategy Development :

  • Create a product vision and roadmap based on market intelligence.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to provide insights and identify growth opportunities.
  • Use market research and VOC to develop new products and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic go-to-market plans for assigned market segments, ensuring commercial success.
  • Set goals and KPIs to measure success within each segment.

Product and Portfolio Management :

  • Collaborate with product development teams to align product offerings with market demand.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of products within the assigned market, including launches, updates, and retirements.
  • Ensure competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
  • Sales Enablement :

  • Provide training, tools, and resources to sales teams to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to set priorities and support key customer relationships.
  • Lead efforts to identify and convert potential leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Marketing Collaboration :

  • Partner with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Ensure alignment between product messaging, branding, and overall company objectives.
  • Utilize analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Customer and Distributor Engagement :

  • Build strong relationships with customers and distributors, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Gather feedback to identify unmet needs and inform product development.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to enhance brand presence.
  • Financial Management :

  • Manage budgets related to market initiatives and ensure cost-effective decision-making.
  • Analyze sales performance and profitability, maintaining margin targets and making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in market management, product management, or business development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial products environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven success in developing and executing market strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, market analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in managing consumable products preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience working in Industrial Manufacturing preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of B2B and B2C sales processes and distributor networks.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite.
  • Superior project and time management skills.
  • Team-player who collaborates well with others.
  • Work Relationship and Scope :

    Reports to the SVP Global Sales & Marketing and works closely and collaboratively with all other colleagues at FyterTech to accomplish established goals. Works daily with highly confidential business and employee information.

    develops good working relationships with co-workers; professional workplace appearance and conduct; keeps FyterTech, customer, and employee information confidential; participates in training and appropriate professional development; reliability in reporting to work regularly and on time;

    understands and adheres to FyterTech policies and procedures.

    Working Conditions :

    Work is performed within the normal FyterTech setting. Prolonged and frequent mental and visual concentration required. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines. Work hours are generally during normal business hours, as both scheduled and unscheduled work hours may arise. Must be able to bend, twist, turn and lift / move up to fifty pounds. Out-of-town / overnight business travel may be required. Serves as a representative of the organization at appropriate functions.
