Job Purpose: The objectives of these positions are to manage and execute incoming and outgoing items or packages of purchased raw materials or other items as well as subcontract services. Shipping & Receiving Employees must possess proficient Math skills, visually verify and accurately count FZE items while packaging them to ensure shipments meet specifications, determine shipment methods, manage internal material movements as well as external van & freight movements for accurate quantity, high quality and zero defects.

Flexible Full Time Work Schedule: 8 to 12 hour shift duration, 40 hours/week as needed

Standing/Walking/Use of Hands & Reach with arms: 7/8 of the time
Listening/Problem Talking/Sitting/Talking: up to 1/8 of the time
Stoop/Kneel/Climb or Balance / Lifting and Exerting Force: occasionally up to 70 lbs
Senses Required:
Good close vision to focus clearly and see fine details on computer screens and/or reports
Adequate hand-eye coordination as required to efficiently work on computers
Ability to speak, understand and communicate English fluently
Ability to feel vibrations, smell excess heat and/or fire caused by machines or cutting tools
Mental Requirements:
Strong reasoning ability (“LOGIC & COMMON SENSE”) to efficiently resolve difficulties
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer and electronic device skills – ERP/MRP System, Email, Excel, etc.
Strong attention to detail including housekeeping and organizational skills
Autonomous self-directed, self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Other Requirements:
Ability to safely operate factory equipment such as forklifts, cranes or hand tools
Valid vehicular operator’s license and safe driving record required
Legible hand writing and reasonable presentation skills
Flexible Schedule: Early morning, late evening, night or weekend hours as required
Must be “ALERT” and able to respond quickly and appropriately to changing manufacturing
conditions that arise to correct situations with employees / Exposure to manufacturing noises
Requirements (preferred):
• High School Diploma Technical Degree preferred – Proficient Math Skills
• 2-3 years of ERP System and computer transactional experience
• 2-3 years of related Shipping & Receiving to include lift-truck operational experience
• 1-2 years of freight and precision metal manufactured parts packaging experience
• 1-2 years of critical thinking skills and problem prevention and/or resolution experience
