Customer Support Technician
Location: North Syracuse, NY (Local candidates only) - In House Role!
G.A. Braun, a leading manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment, is seeking a Customer Support Technician to join our team in North Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert support to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair laundry equipment. You’ll ensure that our customers receive timely and effective solutions to any issues they encounter, delivering a positive experience every time.
What You'll Do:
- Customer Assistance & Support: Provide top-notch support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment problems and provide effective solutions to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.
- Product Installation & Setup: Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment, ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
- Training & Guidance: Educate customers on proper equipment usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures to maximize their experience.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of customer interactions, service reports, and follow-ups, ensuring that all technical issues are tracked and resolved.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to address customer needs and improve products.
- Preventive Maintenance: Provide customers with recommendations on preventive maintenance to improve equipment longevity and reduce the likelihood of future issues.
What You Bring:
- Customer-Focused: Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships with clients.
- Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems. Experience with laundry equipment or similar machinery is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose technical issues and provide clear, actionable solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Accurately document customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions in service reports.
- Team Player: Willingness to work with internal teams to resolve customer issues and continuously improve service delivery.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer support, technical support, or service role, especially with industrial or mechanical equipment, is preferred.
