Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, utilizing various tools and machinery. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment such as press brake machines, milling machines, and stamping presses to fabricate sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and dimensions.
- Utilize hand tools and CNC machinery for precise cutting, shaping, and finishing of sheet metal.
- Perform laser cutting tasks with attention to detail for accuracy.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the production area.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following all safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in operating press brake machines, milling machines, stamping presses, and CNC equipment.
- Strong understanding of GD&T principles for quality assurance.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with laser cutting technology is a plus.
- Competent in using hand tools effectively for various tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes.
- Forklift operation experience preferred for material handling tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.
