What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plasma Operator position at G.A. Braun, Inc.?
Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
G.A. Braun is seeking multiple full-time Plasma Operators on 1st shift. The Plasma Operator is responsible for loading/unloading material on the plasma table and cutting parts to work order instructions. Plasma Operators should have the ability to read tape a measure, protractor, and calipers. A Plasma Operator should be able to read, functionally understand, and apply work instructions to the job duties along with scanning in and out of work orders.
Plasma Operator Responsibilities:
· Fabricate parts to blueprint work order specifications.
· Operate an overhead crane and/or forklift to load/unload steel from trucks and storage rack.
· Select the appropriate material for processing according to work order.
· Setup, operate and maintain processing equipment.
· Accurately scan in and out of work orders.
· Perform general maintenance on equipment and tools.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Plasma Operator Qualifications:
· Ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
· Reliable transportation
· Overtime available and encouraged.
· Manufacturing experience (preferred)
