Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
G.A. Braun is seeking a full-time Sheet Metal Fabricator’s on 1st shift. The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for setting up and operating the press brake. A Sheet Metal Fabricator should be able to read/interpret blueprints, read tape measure and a protractor. The Sheet Metal Fabricator must read, functionally understand, and apply work instructions to the job duties along with scanning in and out of work orders.
Sheet Metal Fabricator Responsibilities:
· Fabricate parts to blueprint work order specifications.
· Select the appropriate material for processing according to work order.
· Setup, operate and maintain processing equipment.
· Operate an overhead crane and/or forklift to load/unload steel from trucks and storage rack.
· Accurately scan in and out of work orders.
· Perform general maintenance on equipment and tools.
· Assist fellow associates with large parts.
· Train new employees
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Sheet Metal Fabricator Qualifications:
· Ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
· Reliable transportation
· Overtime available and encouraged.
· Manufacturing experience (preferred)
