Filter Service Technician - $20 - $23 / hour
Filter Services Inc (FSI) is the largest filtration products and services company in the Midwest. We are in need of a Service Technician that is willing to learn all aspects of our business, including Chicagoland Filter Change out work, Coil Cleaning and Special Projects with primary responsibilities and time spent at the BP Refinery in Whiting, IN , but is not limited to BP Refinery and may include working from our headquarters in Des Plaines, IL and the surrounding Chicagoland area. Our contract with BP includes HVAC filter change-out and unit cleaning responsibilities.
The Filter Services Inc. Filter Service Technician will report to the FSI site supervisor and will work independently as well as on a team. This position will work closely with multiple FSI departments as well as customer technicians and supervisors.
Ideal Candidate Examples :
- Someone looking to get experience in the Trades
- Previously in construction or roofing, carpentry, cable TV / alarm installers or similar
- Mechanically inclined
- Safety-oriented, organized, efficient and results-driven
- Strong communication, verbal and customer service skills
- Experience working outside, on roofs, with ladders
- Someone who has worked in a refinery
