Job Summary
As an Auditor, you will be responsible for examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Evaluate financial systems, management procedures, and internal controls to ensure records are accurate and controls are adequate
- Analyze financial data to detect irregularities and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and recommend improvements
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation
Skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis and accounting principles
- Experience with financial software and tools for data analysis
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards
- Ability to analyze complex financial information accurately
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial services industry
