JOB SUMMARY
Interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services. Is responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and the company. Assists customers with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancelations, and other queries.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
*Resolve customer complaints via phone or e-mail.
*Greet customers and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
*Place or cancel orders.
*Handle product recalls.
*Analyze transactions, corrects records, and adjust errors.
*Traces status of orders.
*Contact customers to ascertain data omitted on orders.
*Has knowledge of product line, delivery time, drop ship items, various marketing promotional items, and similar data, as required.
*Determine charges for services requested, and/or arrange for billing.
*Utilize system to monitor and assign work priority and coordinate with warehouse associate’s activities.
*Monitor inbound freight traffic and make sure to fulfill orders.
*Perform inbound receipt and outbound bill of lading system processing.
*Perform other duties and assist management as needed.
*Participate in physical inventories.
*On occasion, employees are assigned on very short notice to work for an extended period of time.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
*1-year related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Computer skills required.
*Ability to deal with problems under pressure.
*Ability to read, speak, and write English and Spanish languages.
*Pleasant telephone voice/manner, ability to operate simple office equipment sufficiently to perform the job.
*Ability to compose correspondence.
