Job Summary
As a Receiver, you will play a crucial role in the warehouse operations by managing incoming shipments, verifying contents, and ensuring accurate inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders
- Label and stockpile received goods
- Ensure accurate documentation of received materials
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage of items
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to move and store materials
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with AS400 or similar inventory management systems
- Proficiency in using forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes
- Familiarity with e-commerce logistics is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
