FedEx Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks. Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or van to deliver products to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of items.
• Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any discrepancies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Experience

• Previous experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safe loading practices.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150.00 - $170.00 per day

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Work Days:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
