G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join its team in Redmond, WA.
The primary function of the position is to perform duties required to maintain the property in good condition, overseeing the outside service providers and assisting in repairs as required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, escalators and hvac systems
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems and fixtures
- Repair and paint drywall when needed
- Repair of all doors, locks and levers
- Installation of property upgrades, such as retrofitting of light fixtures and decorative items
- Oversee outside contractors when on property completing
- Complies with all safety regulations, and identify property defects that could pose a safety hazard to
- Obtain bids and quotes as needed
- Assist with the annual budget in providing estimates and recommended
- Work closely with tenants regarding issues and repair
Qualifications
- 10 years experience in construction, engineering and property operations
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience in critical system environment
- knowledge of real estate property
- The ability to read and interpret complex tenant leases, real estate related agreements and construction
