Summary
The Retirement Specialist Supervisor overseas a dedicated team of 401k specialists and manages the team's back-office responsibilities to assist our internal and external partners. The Retirement Specialist Supervisor is responsible for developing good client relationships and giving outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Handles escalations from employees, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Provides coaching, training, and development of retirement specialist employees.
- Develops and presents training materials associated with department initiatives as needed (e.g., contribution submission training, new hire training, reconciliation/audit training.)
- Creates and implements initiatives on company-wide training regarding G&A Retirement plan offerings.
- Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for the retirement services team on retirement plans, administration, and customer service, answering day-to-day questions as needed.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with carriers/vendors.
- Implements, documents, and maintains administrative procedures for assigned retirement processes and audits.
- Manages and ensures new hires and terminations on team are completed promptly.
- Oversees implementation/transfer process for G&A clients, identifying and training the necessary resources needed to implement a new client.
- Oversees the quarterly reconciliation process, coordinating the necessary resources and project managing between accounting team and vendor contacts.
- Maintains overall responsibility for the accuracy of all retirement related data.
- Must be able to travel occasionally.
Other Duties:
- Responsible for servicing key accounts as their Retirement Specialist.
- Responds to employee and/or client inquiries with the company guidelines for appropriate response times (4 business hours).
- Identifies projects and inefficiencies in department.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to improve, create, and simplify department processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate or bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Equivalent training/experience will be considered.
Skills & Experience:
- 5 plus years of related benefits experience and/or training is required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
- Must be able to communicate with all levels.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- Experience in PrismHR System is a plus.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Retirement Plan Fundamentals certification is required. Must be able to obtain certification within 24 months. ASPPA, ERPA, OR other Retirement Plan Licensures a plus.
