What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/Pipe Layer position at G.A. Peak Excavating, Inc.?
G.A. Peak Excavating, Inc. is seeking experienced Field Techs and Pipe Layers to support and execute general construction tasks in the Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Lehigh County areas who are interested in accelerated learning of excavation and site work procedures. The Field Tech must be able to demonstrate safe operation of assigned tools & equipment based on changing operating conditions. The Field Tech is expected to use his/her experience and judgment to make decisions within his/her limits of authority. This position is not site specific as there will be work needed on various job sites and locations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work in areas of uneven terrain.
Heavy Lifting
Shovel, Rake, Grading, Pipe Work
Snow Removal
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be physically able to perform job tasks and heavy lifting.
Must be able to pass all required training.
Education and Experience:
REQUIRED - High School Diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED - Reliable transportation to and from work.
REQUIRED - Must successfully pass a post-offer/pre-employment screening for controlled substances in accordance with DOT regulations.
