GAS Global is seeking a CAD/Traceability Technician to join their team in this long-term contract assignment, with the potential to become a direct hire role.
This position involves handling multiple projects that require both piping and structural traceability. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to read drawings effectively.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets or databases for tracing welds.
- Calculate and report weld repair rates.
- Handle weld map drawings and track weld non-destructive examinations.
- Log and track materials.
- Prepare spreadsheet reports to assist field personnel and NDE technicians.
- Organize data for final traceability documentation packages.
- Review and enter data from non-destructive examination reports into spreadsheets or databases.
- Scan, file, and organize drawings and reports.
The successful candidate will possess strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel.
