Title: Cobol Architect
Location: Albany, NY
Length: 30 Months
Software Architect will be required to analyze, design and development COBOL programs for Data Quality issues.
Based on a set of business requirements the Software Architect Expert will be required to define data requirements and write application specifications and design for data transformation. Programs will be written in Cobol based on the requirements for a COTS vendor solution.
Unit testing is required as well as writing test plans for the implementation of remediations for data quality issues. When testing is completed, the Software Architect Expert will be required to migrate the programs to the production environment and perform post production validation of the implementation.
Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
