SERVICE & INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN
Performs responsible skilled mechanical work in the installation, repair and maintenance of propane and natural gas fired equipment; does related work as required and does all work in the most efficient, effective and safe manner possible. The service and installation personnel are responsible for the public and professional image of the company. Perform all installation and service duties and assigned tasks as directed by management.
Installation and service technicians are responsible for the safe installation, service and repair of appliances including; conventional and tankless water heaters, gas logs, prefabricated fireplaces (direct vent and vent free), unit heaters, space heaters, ranges and ductless furnaces. Installation, service and repair of interior and exterior gas systems including high pressure and low-pressure piping. Work requires entrance into crawlspaces and rooftops. Work requires use of and not limited to the following tools; shovel, trencher, hammer drill, core drill, reciprocating saw, drill, press tool, pipe threader, crane truck, digital manometer and multi-meter, etc…
Technician must operate service vehicles on specified route in a safe manner and in accordance with all motor vehicle laws, DOT regulations, and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required. Class B CDL license with Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
Review daily work orders with equipment and maintenance personnel in order to service and install customer requests in the most efficient, effective and safe manner.
Complete work orders and all necessary documentation in a complete, accurate, and legible manner for each task performed. Account for all labor, parts and appliances to ensure accurate inventories and correct customer billings. Work to identify tasks to maintain productivity for all hours paid.
Interpret and apply written instructions, job drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints specific to installation jobs.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
