What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Porter Supervisor position at G Brands?
Monday through Friday from 7am to 4:00pm.
Position Summary: This position assists the janitorial manager with daily operations. This position is responsible for providing direction and training to janitorial staff to ensure effective operations, complete customer satisfaction and long-term sustainable growth. Vehicle and cell phone stipend included.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assigns janitorial work to employees, following the material and work requirements of the facility agreement.
- Ensures superior quality cleaning and customer service by performing periodic site visits and inspections.
- Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
- Consults with and helps staff members to resolve production issues and personnel problems.
- Trains employees in janitorial methods and procedures including but not limited to security procedures, proper chemical usage, and company policy.
- Trains employees in proper operation of equipment.
- Issues janitorial supplies and equipment to employees to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Performs corrective discipline or remedial training duties as necessary
- Performs fill-in or substitute duties as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Manages time keeping system and work order system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
