Monday through Friday from 6am to 3pm
Position Summary: This position is responsible for providing quality customer service to clients by performing interim and final cleaning of residential and commercial building(s) in which they are assigned to work using industry standard methods and equipment. In addition this position is responsible for assisting the estimator and branch manager with planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating the work of the Field Supervisors and Construction Service Representatives to achieve quality customer service.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Restrooms: Cleans and removes dust and debris from sinks, cabinets, tubs, showers, walls, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and other surfaces. Polishes metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
- Kitchenette/Break room: clean and remove dust and debris from sinks, countertops, cabinets, tables, floors, chairs, and appliances. Polishes all metalwork.
- Rooms: cleans and removes dust and debris from all interior areas including but not limited to lobbies, closets, washrooms, utility rooms, garages, hallways, patios, and storage areas.
- Floors: sweeps, mops, and/or vacuums facility floors using equipment such as brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners. Floors may be rugs, carpets, wood, laminate, cement, ceramic, etc. Remove all dust and debris using appropriate tools such as scrubbing, steam cleaning, shampooing, waxing, and polishing.
- Walls/Furniture/Equipment: Remove dust and debris from all interior surfaces including but not limited to walls, ceilings, trim, doors, door frames, and windows. Dusts, cleans, and/or polishes furniture such as desks, shelves, bookcases, partitions, and the like as required. Upholstered furniture may require the use of a vacuum cleaner.
- Windows/Glass: cleans and removes all dust and smudges from interior and exterior windows, mirrors, and glass.
- Trash: Remove any and all trash, dirt, and debris from the interior of the unit and dispose of in the proper area. Remove and dispose of all packing materials and temporary labels.
- Notifies appropriate personnel as supplies and equipment are needed for cleaning duties.
- Reports any problems with broken or damaged items to supervisor.
- Assists management in coordinating and scheduling the activities of Construction Service Representatives.
- Ensures superior quality cleaning and customer service by performing periodic site visits and inspections.
- Observes and evaluates Janitorial Service Representatives performance and performs performance evaluations when required.
- Assists management in resolving customer complaints and answering customer’s questions regarding services and procedures.
- Assists management by training employees in construction cleaning methods and procedures including but not limited to security procedures, proper chemical usage, equipment operation, and company policy.
- When necessary, issues janitorial supplies and equipment to employees to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Reports a list of employee absences, deficiencies, and proactively recommends additional services or cleaning needs to facilities to management.
- Performs fill-in or substitute duties as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Routinely fills Branch Manager and Estimator in on progression of projects.
- Manages communication with customers to determine schedules for upcoming projects.
- Manages Janitorial Manager time entries for construction team
- Manages employees through Janitorial Manager
- Possesses OSHA 30
- Assists in managing Drug Free Work Place Program for construction
- Assists in maintaining and managing cleanliness of G Brands vehicles, maintenance of G Brands Vehicles, and vehicle logs
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness and organization of G Brands warehouse.
- Assists in maintaining overall cleanliness of G Brands parking lot and sidewalks.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting with training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of cleaning products and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of cleaning equipment and procedures.

Education/Experience: A high-school diploma or General Education Degree is required. At least one year of experience in the construction, janitorial, or related field of work is preferred. At least one year of supervisor experience is preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
- A valid Ohio Drivers’ License is required.
- OHSA 30 (will provide training if necessary)
- Lift training (will provide training if necessary)
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently or regularly required to walk; stand; stoop; kneel; crawl; bend; climb; use arms and hands to finger, handle, reach over head, feel, or grasp objects, tools, or controls; push and pull; frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally move and/or lift up to 100lbs; Vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. Some jobs require an employee to be exposed to unpleasant and noxious fumes and odors. Some jobs require an employee to hazardous work environments. Some jobs require an employee to work where there is a significant chance of injury. This job requires the use of personal protective equipment(PPE) including eye, face, foot, hand, and head as required by the particular task or job assignment.
