Job Description
This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Optician/Optical Sales Consultant who can provide exceptional patient care and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribute and adjust eyewear to ensure correct fit and vision correction.
- Analyze and interpret prescriptions from optometrists and physicians.
- Utilize manual lensometers and other tools to achieve precise measurements.
- Educate patients on various corrective lens options, taking into account their medical needs and lifestyle preferences.
- Offer honest and empathetic feedback on frame selection.
- Achieve sales objectives while focusing on patient-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with the Regional Optical Manager to manage inventory levels and enhance customer satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED, required.
- Associate's degree, preferred.
- Minimum two years' experience in optical sales, required.
- Optician licensure in Florida, preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, preferred.
