Key Responsibilities
- Dispense, make adjustments, and basic repairs to frames to ensure proper fit for patients.
- Review and interpret Optometrist's/MD's prescriptions accurately.
- Operate manual lensometer and other tools to achieve precise fittings.
- Educate patients on corrective lens options, guiding them in making informed choices that meet their medical needs and lifestyle preferences.
- Provide honest and compassionate feedback on aesthetic choices in frames.
- Achieve sales goals and quotas while prioritizing patients' specific needs and desires.
- Collaborate with the Regional Optical Manager to maintain inventory, ensuring optimum customer satisfaction and product variety.
- Communicate effectively with providers regarding prescriptions and eye-related issues.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of optical sales experience required.
- Optician license in Florida (preferred).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
