Job Title : Export Supervisor
Company Introduction : G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food. We store and deliver more than 4,000 food items to meet the needs of our customers across 27 states and 28 states internationally. Location : Alachua, FL
Pay : $60,000-$80,000 Annually
Schedule : Monday-Friday 6 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM
Job Summary :
The Export Supervisor’s role will be to lead and motivate the export team to achieve the overall objective day to day. This role will assist to ensure that the export operations team in the warehouse is providing a professional and excellent level of service for existing and new customers. The best candidate for this role will be able to maintain a positive attitude and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This person will be responsible for :
- Assist in creating an inspiring team environment with a culture of open communication by listening to team members’ feedback and resolving any issues or conflicts
- Must obtain Level-2 eAuthentication credentials online to complete PHIS documentation necessary to export goods out of the country
- Must stay up to date on FSIS requirement updates through FSIS website and communications with CSIs and DVMs
- Will collect information daily of product being shipped out of the country to fulfill FSIS and PHIS documentation
- Must be able to calculate information of product establishments quickly and efficiently, including weights and case counts for each load
- Must be flexible and can step into any position needed to complete processes prior to and after documentation, example; reach trucking, selecting, and loading
- Assist the Export Supervisor to complete FSIS applications and health certificates when needed
- Must be able to use a typewriter to complete FSIS health certificates
- Utilize label printers effectively for repack, translation labels, and USDA marks with consistency and accuracy
- Build and foster a sound working relationship interdepartmentally and externally
- Handle sales team contact and other priority communication using strong time management skills
- Handle and operate PIT Equipment
Must have a flexible work schedule as the workload may require staying late and coming in early
