Location: Alachua, FL
Schedule: Sunday with a 10 AM start time and Monday through Wednesday with a 1 PM start time
Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist works in the warehouse, performing assigned duties to maintain an accurate inventory of all product lines handled at G&C Foods. The Inventory Control Specialist resolves discrepancies found by the daily morning aisle checks.
Essential Functions:
- Confirm and correct inventory issues/checks.
- Assists in returns, overages, and shortages.
- Spot check pallets and the ability to verify that damaged products are valid.
- Answer driver calls after 3 pm, Monday-Thursday.
- Reports any discrepancies to management.
- Communicate with the Inventory control group to document and correct over- and short-shipped boxes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understand and utilize the NCR system.
- Bilingual preferred.
