Location : Alachua, FL
Schedule : Sunday-Thursday 1 pm -12 am
Job Summary :
The Trainer works with new and developing Lumpers and Receivers to orient them to the Receiving Process. This individual must be enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to be flexible to the needs of the job and the trainees. When there are no new hires, the trainer will work with existing Lumper, Selectors, and Reach Truck Operators to improve performance.
Essential Functions :
- Train Lumpers and Receivers on their standard operating procedures
- Train Reach Truck Operators on both day and night reach truck operating procedures
- Introduce Image Control to their daily duties.
- Go over employee manuals for each entry-level position.
- Certify all employees on the operations of PITs
- Do battery changes when needed.
- Teach selection to Reach Truck Operators, Lumpers, and Receivers
- Complete any paperwork for new hires (PIT certifications, training checklist)
- Assist with the training schedule.
- Provide retraining when necessary.
- Full detailed tour of the facility and each new hires primary area
- Fill out any paperwork / checklists for training for each position.
- Provide supervisors with 6-month evaluations of all employees.
