What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Tech I - Packaging position at G & C Staffing LLC?
The Production Technician I is responsible for producing packaged flower to the quality specifications per product line. This role is expected to exercise all Gold Flora’s safety standards, SOP’s, GMP, and state and local laws. The Production Tech I will be a team-player, respectful collaborator, and have strong attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Packages flower via automation or by hand, depending upon the product line and production build.
- Labels and seals packaging for final finished good
- Operates to all SOPs trained by the Production Manager.
- Adheres to quality control procedures.
- Handles THC-based inputs
- Ensures compliance with company policies and pertinent DCC Regulations
- Follows and applies all policies, procedures and guidelines when operating equipment, machinery, or instrumentation; reports unsafe equipment, conditions and practices to ensure a safe workplace.
- Works as part of a team.
- Contributes toward a desirable workplace culture.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and responsible
- High School Diploma
- Management of employee experience
- Ability to follow direction and be punctual
- Must be able to work quickly but efficiently, while maintaining the integrity of the product.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced work environment where you are subject to many interruptions.
Working Environment
- This position will work in an indoor manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures; exposed to hazardous chemicals, bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
Job Requirements
- Capable of working with and around hazardous chemicals.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, bend, squat, push, pull, talk and hear for extended periods of time.
- Required to wear provided PPE while working in the lab.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance.
- Work revolves around hours of operating and occasional overtime as needed.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Selected candidate will be required to pass a post offer, pre-employment background check.
