Summary :
The Material Handler II position is responsible for moving material from racking to other areas of the warehouse. This person will prepare / package finished material for shipping. Daily use of a counterbalance forklift or a stand-up is required. Material Handler II will dispose of debris and empty dumpsters into the compactor as needed. This position will maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Primary Job Duties :
- Pulls material from racking, stage to proper location, load and unload material.
- Operates counterbalance forklift.
- Operates a stand-up lift.
- Utilizes an overhead crane and hoist.
- Prepares finished product for shipping (packing material for damage control).
- Proactively communicates issues and work together with Supervisor to identify process improvements
- Performs other duties as assigned.
