Summary
The Facility Maintenance position is responsible for general building and grounds upkeep as well as any projects at any of the G&D facilities. This includes but is not limited to painting, drywall, electrical, racking, floor striping, basic HVAC and plumbing as well as grounds keeping. Travel is typically local but occasionally will require an out-of-state trip.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs basic plumbing tasks.
- Performs basic electrical tasks.
- Maintains office and warehouse needs.
- Performs interior painting.
- Works with at least 1 other person on tasks
- Works with handheld power tools.
- Certified on Sit Down power industrial truck.
- Lawn Upkeep
- Works efficiently to achieve or exceed performance targets for velocity, quality and cost.
- Understands and follows all ISO and 5S initiatives.
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge / skill.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures and reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and / or Human Resources.
