Summary :

G&D is looking to add a Technology Support team member. The Technology team member works with G&D staff across the organization. The Technology team supports the organization by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and keeping our end users running.

Primary Job Duties :

Provides support for end users through email, inbound, and outbound calls to follow up with customer inquiries and to verify customer satisfaction.
Proactively performs maintenance to hardware and software
Maintains up-to-date and accurate records.
Collaborates in a team environment with coworkers and other departments to provide effective and efficient technology solutions.
Educates and assists end users with troubleshooting G&D provided equipment
Assists in diagnosing and resolving network related issues.
Uses appropriate communication and documentation to inform the team of important issues and information that will help improve team performance.
Participates in the on-call rotation as agreed by the Tier One Support team. When on call, be prepared to always address technical issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

High School diploma / GED

IT related experience such as IT helpdesk is preferred.

Must be computer proficient with a basic and diverse understanding of consumer electronics.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing outstanding customer satisfaction.

Ability to navigate between multiple screens to access and record the necessary information needed to resolve customer inquiries.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality results.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks each day.

Strong documentation skills and ability to identify and produce clear, comprehensive written instructions and technical documentation that other people can understand.

Must be detail-oriented and to work as part of a team.

Must be available to work occasional nights, weekends, and occasional holidays (with holiday pay) to fulfill the team schedule.

Job Details :

Location : 50 Commerce Drive Morton, IL 61550 with up to 40% travel (mostly local Peoria area locations)

Schedule : 8 AM – 4 : 30 PM M-F with rotating on call

Pay Rate : $55,000 - $75,000 Depending on Experience

Job Type : Full Time with Benefits
