Summary:
The Shipping Receiving Clerk position is responsible for tracking incoming loads, receiving unloaded material, and ensuring shipments are accurate to customers per customer order. The Shipping Receiving Clerk plays a key role in customer communication (electronically), load planning and inventory record accuracy.
Primary Job Duties:
- Maintains database by uploading our outbound/inbound shipment paperwork.
- Manages inventory shipped in software/database to ensure proof of delivery.
- Ensures orders are shipped/received accurately and per customer standards.
- Notifies carriers of inbound/outbound discrepancies.
- Scans material with handheld scanner.
- Certified on Sit Down forklift.
- Assists with unloading trailers as needed.
- Manage routine reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Word (including: Email, Excel, and Routine Database Activity etc.).
- Previous experience operating power industrial truck preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Technical, Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution preferred
- One year of experience in Warehouse/Third-party logistics environment preferred

Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $15 - $17 / hour
