What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Pavement Markings/ Line Striper position at G-FORCE Parking Lot Striping?
G-FORCE Parking Lot Striping is a pavement marking company. We stripe parking lots, parking garages, roads, install wheel stops and traffic signs. We are looking for experienced pavement marking experts in our Orlando location. Candidate must be experienced, flexible and detail-oriented. Starting pay ranges from $18 per hour and could increase up to $30.00 per hour after successful training. Candidate must have at least 1 year of pavement marking experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Layout and install pavement markings
- Clean up job-sites
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Work is outside in variable weather conditions.
Schedule has to be flexibly with working day and or night shift and weekends.
Valid Drivers License

Physical Demand: Heavy
- 100 pounds maximum lifting.
- Frequent (up to 2/3 of the work time) lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Expressing or exchanging ideas by spoken word or perceiving sound by ear.
- Good eyesight for production or safety of self and others.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb for extended periods of time.
- Physical demand requirements are in excess of medium work.
POSITION SUMMARY: Experienced individual to drive and/or operate pavement marking equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lift, carry, load and unload construction items including pavement marking supplies, signs, etc.
- Prepare, clean and sweep work area.
- Operates and maintains striping equipment for the application of striping on roadways.
- Set up and remove construction signs and traffic control items at job site.
- Operates and maintains equipment, both hand operated and motorized designed to remove pavement markings from roadway surfaces.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to job site.
- Clean paint machines.
- Install and remove signs, posts and supports.
- Shop work which may include general maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Perform other work related duties as assigned.
- Travel from work site to work site (involves some overnight travel).
- Will have to perform mechanical repairs on the equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
